    Using Pocket Chart and Word Cards for Listening

    Saying Random Words


    Preparations: Have ready a number of word cards.
    Procedure:
    1. Divide students in the class into several groups.
    2. Then, teacher saying random words in front of the class.
    3. A member of the group write the word that teacher said, comes to the front, and inserts the word
    cards on the pocket chart.

    Example:
    1. RAINBOW
    2. GARBAGE
    3. SANDWICH

    Picture Ordering
    Preparations: Have ready a set of picture and word cards.
    Procedure:
    1. The teacher gave a set of picture and the describe to the several group of students
    2. They listen to a description of each pictures
    3. They put the pictures in the right order on the pocket chart.

    Example:

    1.
    I wash my hands before and after eating
    2.
    I brush my teeth twice a day

    3.
    My friend and me do our group assignments
