HW /New building has been constructed on land used for commercial

purposes consists of three floors in crowded area with very good


specification and gave contractor contractual conditions started at
1999/7/1 and completed during one and half year according to previous
building its cost 100 million ID started in 1/1/1994 and finished in
1/7/1996 , consists from two floors ,ground with area 600 m2 ,1 st floor
400m2 with good specification in un crowded area with no contractual
facilities ,cost / m2 from 1st floor is 80% from cost of m2 of ground floor,
if i=10% ,new building cost of m2 of ground floor increase by 20% from
cost / m2 of 1st and 2nd floor.

HW : Building with dimension (60*40)m consist of basement ,ground ,
1st .2nd floors floor height =2.8 m for basement ,3 m for ground ,1st ,2nd
floors . total cost of building = 2250000 ID determine cost of m3 by:
1- Cost m3 for all floors and basement are the same.
2- Cost m3 for basement is 60% from cost of any other floors.

Sol :
1- Basement volume = 60*40*2.8=6720m3
Floors volume = (60*3*40)*3=21600 m3
Total volume= 28320 m3
Cost m3= 2250000/28320 = 79450 ID/m3

2- Basement vol = 40*60*2.8*0.6= 4032 m3


Ground ,1st ,2nd =3*7200= 21600 m3
Total vol = 25632 m3

Cost /m3= 2250000/25632=87780 ID /m3


Cost m3 basement = 87780 *o.6=
