VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Applications are hereby invited from qualified and experienced Tanzanian

Youth for the following vacancy post advertised by the Southern African
Development Community (SADC) Secretariet on behalf of the African
Union Commission (AUC):-

VACANT POSITION

1. Conflict Prevention, Mediation and Dialogue (Wise Youth)

Closing Date: 25 November, 2023

GENERAL CRITERIA
◼ All applicants must be African youth or Diaspora with at least a
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a relevant field and a minimum of three (3)
years of demonstrable and documented experience in conflict prevention,
mediation and dialogue efforts and national/regional levels;
◼ Applicants must be between the age of 18 -35 for the entire duration of
their tenure. Tenure will be for a period of three (3) years non-renewable.
◼ Applicants will only be considered following the submission of:- An
abridged professional CV; a minimum of two references; a cover letter; a
short page bio of about 1,000 words with a picture; and if possible, a brief
video of no more than three (3) minutes explaining their concrete experience
in conflict prevention, mediation and dialogue.
