Comparing the Ideal Self to the True self

Ideal Self

1. School:
My Ideal Self’s attitude towards school would be that I am the Valedictorian of the school
and I participate as much as I want to. My ideal self would like to speak in every lecture
about her opinion or knowledge. I think that my ideal self would like to gain knowledge
through interaction rather than just listening. Moreover, my ideal self would retain around
80% of the knowledge gained in the school. However, this was my notion about the
theoretical studies that are gained in the school apart from this my Ideal self would like to
make as many as friends I could and have a good time laughing with them. My Ideal Self
should have a good reputation among the teachers as a brilliant student and a fun friend
among the students.

2. Friends:
My Ideal self’s attitude towards friends would be that they should have the ideal
mind-likeness as me, i.e. I would not like to be friends with someone who doesn’t care
about studies, respect boundaries etc. Opinions are respected and can be conflicting but
the upbringing of my company should well. My Ideal self would like to have friends that
are true to myself, i.e. they don't do back talking about me or are jealous of my
achievements traits or talents. My Ideal self would like to help each of my friends
wherever I can. My Ideal self would also like to have a friend whom with I can go to
Taylor Swift’s concert and scream Cruel Summer at the top of my lungs.

3. Family:
Family is something that affects one at a very basic and ground level. Your family's
upbringing defines your personality. My Ideal Self would like to have a family that
respects my privacy, boundaries and decisions. My Ideal self imagines a family that
wipes my tears instead of causing them. The family my Ideal self would like to be with is
the one who accepts who I am, the body that I have, the complexion, the intelligence,
the future, the strengths, the weaknesses and everything. My Ideal self would like to
have a family that would not assert their opinions, rules and ideas on me. It should be
me who would be deciding these factors that affect my life.

4. Money:
Money is something my Ideal, as well as the true self, is obsessed with. My Ideal Seld
would have quite a load of money. My Ideal self will always respect money in every part
or juncture of my life. Education and personality are something that share equal priority
with money according to my Ideal Self. My Ideal self would like to channel that money I
would have, i.e. putting some part of it for Social Welfare, some for Savings, and some
for my own shenanigans such as clothes, cars, concerts, trips etc. My true self with the
help of money would like to give a life my parents never had.
