ACTIVITY #1

INTRODUCTION

Direction: Write your responses of the questions in the spaces provided.

1. How can NSTP-CWTS/LTS students serve the community?

- By them to study, adopt and use the basic values of rules that they
have learned in studying the NSTP subject, and to willingly join to the
groups that covered of NSTP, just like the NSRC or the National Service
Reserve Corps that promoting a service to the community, like a service
learning opportunities, service learning projects, students-run
organizations and many more other services that can serve the
community. So by this, the students of NSTP-CWTS/LTS can join, help
and serve the other people in the community especially the youths and
also to train them to be more civic, practical-thinking and more likely a
military leader someday that is a big help to them to grow and become a
leader of indeed goods, to recognize their vital role in nation-building, to
promote and develop consciousness to the youth and develop their
physical, spiritual, intellectual and social well-being. And it shall inculcate
in the youth's patriotism, nationalism, and advance their involvement in
public and civic affairs.
2. What can you contribute to help achieve the vision-mission of NSTP
in your school?

- First is to memorize and always remember the mission and vision of

PBTS. Putting the school's mission into actions, making the school's
vision into realizations. And to prioritize my studies as well as my life as a
student of PBTS. To comply with the rules and policies of my school, to
always obey the simple rules and regulations implemented and existing
in my school. To have a respect to everyone inside or even outside the
school campus, especially to the school professors that is helping me to
achieve my dream, and to the school staffs that has a big role by
maintaining a good surrounding to my school and of course to other
students in any level. To strive for academic excellence, by always
participating actively in any school activities and school programs, to
show and to become a role model to my fellow students by doing my
works and actions clean and proper.

ACTIVITY #2
NSTP
Direction: State & explain the Rule emphasizing the Role of the Youth in
nation building.
- The youth is very important in every generations. Every youth has a
right to show what they can do to our nation and we must make sure
that every youth has a chance to prove themselves worthy and that
must be offered equally to all. Every youth has the ability to bring a big
change to our country. To conclude, the role of every youth is very
important in the building of our nation. They can be a positive influence
on our society and can also solve the problem by introducing innovative
and impactful ideas that will only help in the betterment of our country.
But of course, they also need to be skill-trained to do the job that our
country's economy needs, by helping them to learn vital life-skills,
develop their knowledge on human rights and citizenship, become more
practical in every decisions they'll make and to promote positive civic
action. Youths also have to maintain the culture of our culture, all good
values in the societies, development projects, etc.

THE PHILIPPINE CONSTITUTION
Direction: State Article II Section13 and explain by relating to NSTP-
CWTS and NSTP-LTS
- The state recognizes the vital role of the youth in nation-building and
shall promote and protect their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and
social well-being. It shall inculcate in the youth patriotism and
nationalism, and encourage their environment in public and civic affairs.
- It is related to this subject because NSTP has the components that has
important roles to do in every youth. The NSTP-CWTS and NSTP-LTS
subject promotes and has a part that is centered to youths. NSTP has
components that promotes activities like, community service,
community activities and programs that serving and teaching the youth
to be more civic, practical thinker and like a military leader. This services
helps them to be strength and also helps them to be more physically,
spiritually, intellectual strong and also being a social well-being.
 ACTIVITY #5
(I-D. SELF-AWARENESS & VALUES DEVELOPMENT)
1. Explain the development of your personal values.
- Day by day I’m learning something new that is contributing to my self-
development, everything anything that I have encountered in my life is
already impressed to me and help me to be a grown woman today. Since
I was a child and start to develop my own way of thinking I began to feel
the awareness to my surroundings an start to develop my consciousness
not only for me but also for other people. Being surrounded by other
people and seeing other people’s way of thinking, actions and
personality also helps me to identify what kind of mentally I am with.
Every day that I am growing I starting to value and appreciate my self
worth, feel and give love to others sincerely, start to be practically good
at doing the things that I want and love, enjoying very little things that I
work hard for and starting to build my own goals in life that has a
support to the people I love.

2. Why is Self- Awareness important?

- Self-awareness is very important to every people because this helps us
to be aware of what our thoughts and feelings might be, It will help us to
make a better decisions that we will make and to avoid making a mistake
always. Furthermore, it aids us to develop a sense of control over our
lives and protecting ourselves from harmful people who might take
advantage of us if we aren't cautious. Having this awareness that
connects to our human body will give us the opportunity and freedom to
change things about ourselves and to choose what we want to be,
enabling us to create a life that we want. Furthermore, it aids you
develop a sense of control over your life and protecting yourself from
harmful people who might take advantage of you if you aren't cautious.
Self-awareness is the key to managing actions and setting goals for our
future, and it is a skill that will help our teen thrive.

GOOD CITIZENSHIP VALUES

I. PAGKAMAKA-DYOS
1. FAITH IN GOD
- We want to have God present in our
lives. We want to have a relationship of
trust in him. We want to ask for God’s
help beyond what we ourselves can do.

- I always do a sign of a cross every time I

passed in Catholic churches, that is a sign
of respect to the abode of God. I always
think first the consequences that I will
receive every time that I will make a
decision, if it’s be good or bad for me
and for other people. And I do respect
any kind of religion we have.

2. RESPECT FOR LIFE - We want all human life to be preserved,

nurtured and safeguarded.

- Respecting each others way of living is

a must to everyone. Every thing that has
a life in this world has a very important
role that playing in today’s world.

3. ORDER - We want organizations, system and

predictability in all aspects of our daily
life and life as a nation.
- I do support the organizations that
making a good change to our country,
that is helping the people and guiding
them to be better in their lives.

4. WORK - Everybody wants to have a job to

 support the basic needs of their family.

- I do respect every kind of job people

have. I don’t judge or hate them base on
the jobs that they have, because job is all
about making money to support your
expenses, having and making a new
friends that you can be with, job is job
no matter what. Sometimes I see posts
on facebook that disrespecting, belittling
and making fun people’s occupation, but
little did they know the hard work, time,
efforts and strengths made by the
people behind that work.

5. CONCERN FOR FAMILY - We want what is best for our family

AND FUTURE and for every single member in the
GENERATION present and future generations.

- I tell every time to my little nieces and

cousins to always say “PO” and “OPO”
every time they are talking to older than
them. I am a very conservative and
protective person to my family,
especially to my girl relatives. I am
practicing to be a good example to them
and I’m teaching the to always have a
good manners and right conduct for
their future self in the future.

II. PAGKAMAKA-TAO
1. LOVE - We want that each of us desire to love
and be loved. Love begets love. If love
reigns in our hearts, harmonious
relationship of all the people will prevail.

- As days go by I appreciate the things

that I have, I am starting to have a deep
understanding and appreciation to love, I
learn to give love without looking for
anything in return and I started to
receive love to others without suspecting
them to just use me. And now based on
my past experiences in life, I believe that
 giving love to others without thinking for
anything in return is more good for me
rather than receiving a love that is full of
lie and hatred.

2. FREEDOM - We want that each one of us be able to

exercise our freedom of will.

- I really appreciate my own freedom, I

do enjoy things that I want to do without
worrying what others will do or say to
me, but of course, I also have my
limitations using my freedom and I don’t
let that my freedom will be destroy
because of something I did was wrong.

3. PEACE - We want to live in a serene and a

secure community, with a harmonious
relationship with our neighborhood. A
place, which is tranquil, could expect
harmony between others, and as well as
with the environment.

- I am an introvert person and I do love

having my own space. I value peace a lot
and I understand people who are not
comfortable in noisy room that’s why I
do respect them and don’t judge them
but in fact I’m letting and giving them
their own space. Another thing is, in our
neighborhood we have a time limit to
have a videoke outside, for that, so other
houses can rest and have a peace.

4. TRUTH - We want that we ourselves and other

be true; that truth reigns in our land.

- Every well-being deserves a truth, truth

is something that is very important thing
to confess and prevail, even if it can/will
hurt you, it is important that you still
truth in you.

5. JUSTICE - We want that everyone be given what

is due to him/her as a human being, and
 that what govern all relationships is
morally and legally right.

- I believe everyone that make a sin still

has a rights for a right justice. Because
everyone in this planet has a life to live.

III. PAGKAMAKABAYAN
1. UNITY - We want to be one as a people. We
cherish oneness-as co-citizens of our
country, as members of our family, as
co-workers in a institutions.

- I love participating in our community

services, activities and programs that
doing a help and services for other
people.

2. EQUALITY - We want that each one of us have the

opportunity to be fully human, and that
no one be the victim of prejudices or
biases of any kind, and that the interests
of one not be sacrificed against his will
for the good of another.

- I respect and don’t ashamed other

people’s appearance, actions and
speaking. I do not support racist people. I
know how it feels being bullied, It’s a
total pain to my mental health that even
after a long time had passed whenever I
remember the times that I’ve been
bullied I still get an ache for that, that is
why I understand being discriminated by
someone.

3. RESPECT FOR LAW AND - We want that the rule of law be upheld
GOVERNMENT by all and all the times that Government
be accorded respect and all laws be
complied with.

- Every time that I’m outside both public

and private places, I always obey the
rules and signs that posted even if it’s
just a small or really important sign. I
 also do respect Government’s rules.

4. PATRIOTISM - We want the best for our country. We

want our country be respected and
honored by its citizenry and the whole
world.

- I respect different countries and I love

knowing their different cultures, beliefs,
beautiful places and traditions.
Everytime that there was a
misunderstanding between different
countries, I don’t wanna get involved to
their fight and just looking for each
others perspective waiting for them to
be good and okay again. Just the time I
remembered when my fellow Filipino
citizens have a little trouble and
misunderstanding between Korean
Citizens and they mock and teasing each
others, what I did is I just watch them
release their words towards each other
and wait until they realized what they do
and until the fight is over and already
forgotten by others.

5. PROMOTION OF - We want all Filipinos to meet their

COMMON GOOD basic minimum needs and to have
opportunities to develop and use our
God given potentials.

- I also given a talent that I can use to

promote myself and I am using it while
enjoying it. I love arts and all things
about arts and luckily I am blessed to
have this kind of talent, by this I can
draw and sell it and earn money using
my own hardwork.
