Air freshener gel HC/AF/04

Croduret™ 50 (POE (50) hydrogenated castor oil) effectively solubilises fragrances into the
firm gel structure of this formulation. When exposed to the air the fragrance is slowly
released from the gel at a controlled evaporation rate.

Method
Disperse Genugel RVL in cold water in which colour and preservative have been added in
advance. Premix perfume oil and Croduret 50. Heat water to 70°C and stir vigorously to
dissolve Genugel RVL. Cool to 55-60°C before addition of perfume oil and Croduret 50
premix, continue stirring until the solution is homogeneous.

Additional Information
Fill into containers at temperatures between 55°C and 60°C to prevent pre-gelation. Cool the
containers, for example, in a cool air tunnel.
