Anupam is a seasoned Human Resource Professional with more than 14 years of experience into HR advisory,
business partnering, C&B, HR Operations, corporate HR, Learning & Change. Engineer by qualification and Master
in HR from IIT, Anupam had been helping his organizations / clients transforming HR functions and aligning them
with business. Anupam started his career in 2004 and since then has taken up the roles of HR Generalist, Talent
Engagement and Development Manager, HR Business Partner, HR & Change Management Advisor, Organization
Effectiveness Head, C&B Head and HR Ops Head in subsequent organizations. In his career, Anupam has dealt
with many aspects of HR interventions in industries such as Telecom, Mobile VAS, IT, Banking, Utilities,
construction and manufacturing across India, Middle East, Europe and Africa regions.

As a certified Assessor, Project Manager and Program Manager, Anupam has always focused on directing the HR
interventions and transformations into business results. He possesses distinctive competency in Organization
Design, HR Process Transformation, Enterprise Learning, OD Initiatives, Project Management and Change
Management. Anupam has co-authored many white papers. He has always scored high CAST (6 or more out of 7)
for his HR Projects during consulting days. Following success stories summarizes his career achievements:
HR Strategy. In his recent roles as HR leader, Anupam has been assisting CHROs in devising HR Strategy
and plans. Developing hiring, on-boarding, developing, engaging strategies. Anupam also conducted
several analyses of attrition, motivation, learning needs, recruitment effectiveness, Total rewards
alignments, seamless integrations of processes etc. and recommended solutions suited to industry,
culture and growth of the organization.
Human Resource Business Partnering. Led HRBPs for one of the Banking Product vertical of Wipro’s BFSI
business. Anupam was tasked to manage the requirements of the vertical that was from IT product
Industry as against Wipro’s IT Service business oriented HR Practices. Anupam managed business aligned
performance management, leadership development, career management and compensation alignment
assignments other than routine HRBP activities. Anupam also managed SKIP meetings, Satisfaction
survey, leadership quality survey, monetary and non-monetary retention strategies, compensation
benchmarking, maintaining gender diversity, and engagement activities.
Compensation and Benefit Management. Anupam had been heading Global C&B in Onmobile in addition
to leading OE. Currently, Global C&B is part of his responsibility in SLK Software. A few responsibilities
include developing and managing compensation philosophies and plans, maintaining competitive
compensation thru benchmarked total rewards across the globe, ST & LT incentive plans, salary reviews,
performance based pays, promotions, diversity & global compliance managements, administration of
C&B operations and HR systems
SuccessFactors Implementation. In his recent job, Anupam has taken the assignment of implementing SF
modules. He has transformed HR Processes in the areas of Lifecyle, Recruitment, PMS, Learning and
Compensation Management. In order to ensure the business benefits and value realization, he has
defined the benefits and values, Base-lined them and working toward tracking them periodically. Along

with other track leaders, Anupam ensured the customizations needs are met and configurations and
integration are done as per timelines and requirements. Anupam is also managing stakeholders by way of
planning appropriate communication & involvement by leaders. Capability Development is being taken
care through TTT and training programs for various type of uses. Other Major activities include – HR
process realignment, Program Management, Initiative % Portal Branding,. Anupam is leading the entire
project.
People CMM Matured Organization. Anupam has designed and developed processes, policy guidelines,
measurements, governance, templates and dashboards for multiple organizations (in IT, Manufacturing
and VAS industries) and made them assessment ready for PCMM Level 2 and 3. As a result, strong
foundation of standardized and lean processes made HR efficient and effective. Moreover, PCMM Level 3
organization had their role based competencies in place and aligned to business-critical goals.
Won NHRD Best Practice Award for Learning Academy (2015). Anupam created a learning academy
from the scratch, developed it and won best NHRD award 2015 for that. It was different as it was run by
business experts and focused on addressing business challenges. The outcomes are always pre-defined. It
also helped organization build advanced capability critical to business sustenance and growth.
Organization Design. Anupam helped one of his client re-align its business processes to business driven
KPIs, re-designed the processes, re-align roles and functions, performed manpower optimization and
created a mechanism for higher focus on business driven KPIs. Change management was key to ensure
smooth transition and acceptance. Noticeable changes were seen from struggle post new ERP
implementation to alignment of people, process, technology and business.
Maturity assessment for setting up shared services. One of his client, a large MNC, was looking for
setting up shared services centrally. Anupam with other team members studied practices, created heat-
map, COM and TOM, assessed locational advantages. He recommended way forward for lifting, shifting
and transforming HR practices to share services setup.
Competency building basis identified gaps. During his initial assignments, this was one of the most
sought after outcome. Anupam created learning plans basis identified, defined and assessed
competencies (behavioral and technical).
Assessment Center. Anupam Has gathered in-depth understanding of assessment centers and need
identification of competencies and attitudes. This began as part of one of the project with an Indian
client. Anupam underwent “certified Assessor” program from XLRI for this. Although Anupam wasn’t the
part of the team to execute the assignment, he worked extensively to plan, design and schedule.
PUBLICATIONS
Published a report on “Social Media – Impact and Relevance in Managing HR”. It was the report based on
the survey conducted in ME region on need, capability, willingness and maturity of using social media into HR
space.

Co-authored the whitepaper on “Total Worth of an Employee”. It was about what are the factors that
contribute to knowing the Total Worth of an employee (other than performance ratings!)
Co-authored the whitepaper on “Measuring ROI for Human Capital”. This was a concept created based on
certain assumptions on spending on Human Capital and its return on investment. It is basically how Human
capital develops if one keeps spending incrementally and when it reached saturation.
