1. Considering the risk and the painstaking labors involved in the development of computer
technology in the 19th and 20th century, are modern humans making use of the technology
wisely? Why or why not?

The answer for me will be it depends to who is the user. There are many people who make
use of the technology wisely and use it to build more technologies. They use their
knowledge and understanding on how to make use of the technology. Like the most known
person who creates tesla car, Elon Musk. The person who use technology to connect to
other people around the world, Mark Zuckerberg and many more peoples. But there are also
people who dont use technology wisely, like people who takes for granted the advancement
of technology we had now a days. Some use it to play games only, some will destroy it, some
will create, and some will use it in crime. Therefore, Technology are being wiser used, but
some are not.

2. How can we possibly give credit to the great inventors in the past for their contribution to
modern society?

One way that we can do to give credit to the great inventors, is by letting all the people
know who really makes the technology, who creates computer, who develop our
technologies and who makes our society today to be modernized. As technology evolved, we
shouldn’t forget to who is the brain and who’s idea is that. We should honor them and thank
them even in a simple way. Through taking care of technologies today and by using it in
correct ways. I know the inventors did not make it to cause harm but it was made to make
the lives of people easier.

3. How far should humans be held responsible for the use and effects of modern technology?

Individual Responsibility: Humans should be held responsible for their individual actions and
choices when using technology. It is crucial for individuals to be aware of the potential
consequences of their actions and make informed decisions. For example, if someone uses
technology to engage in harmful or illegal activities, they should be held accountable for
their actions.

Ethical Considerations: With the rapid advancement of technology, ethical considerations

become increasingly important. It is the responsibility of individuals and organizations
involved in the development and deployment of technology to consider the potential social,
environmental, and economic impacts of their innovations. This includes addressing issues
such as privacy, security, inequality, and the potential for unintended consequences.

Regulation and Governance: Governments and regulatory bodies play a crucial role in
ensuring responsible technology use. They should establish and enforce laws and regulations
that govern the development, deployment, and use of technology. This can include
measures to protect individuals' rights, prevent misuse, and promote responsible behavior.
Societal Responsibility: Society as a whole also bears responsibility for the use and effects of
technology. This includes fostering a culture of digital literacy and education to enable
individuals to make informed decisions about technology. Additionally, collective action and
public discourse can shape the direction and impact of technological advancements.

Shared Responsibility: It is important to recognize that responsibility for technology use and
effects is not limited to individuals alone. Technology companies, policymakers, researchers,
and various stakeholders all share a responsibility to consider the broader implications and
work towards positive outcomes. Collaborative efforts and partnerships can help address the
challenges associated with technology.
