Essay: Person of the Year Award

“I Live My Life For You”

This honor should go to the one and only person in my life who inspires me, works hard for us,

and even sacrifices his life for us. I want to start by expressing my gratitude to my parents, who are my

biggest supporters in terms of my goals and abilities. In addition to loving us, they also support, care for,

and nourish us. Because of how diligent he is, this individual deserves us so much. On that person's hand

are the characteristics of a good person. I'm pointing to a person who I know to be very kind and

dedicated to their work. One day, I hope to be like that person who sets high standards for themselves and

eventually succeeds in doing so. Even though people make mistakes occasionally, they prefer to reinvent

themselves and start over.

I'm honored to be my father's daughter and to be a part of his family. I'm really appreciative that

my dad is the kind of father that will look after us even when he is not physically present. He has a strong

commitment to his family and possesses the virtue of patience, which he has always instilled in us. I want

to take care of my family and later, myself, just like my dad does. We respect his judgment in every

action, even when we are hesitant to face reality because of our fears. He is there for us, holding our

hands and helping us get to where we need to go while teaching us how to stand on our own two feet with

the support of the family's love and devotion. He is incredibly kind, gifted, and attractive, but most

importantly, he is the family's father, who has given us strength, shown us how to contend with

challenges, and shown us how to emulate him in every aspect of life.

We always showed our mother respect, but we were blind to how difficult and terrible it must

have been for our father to labor and risk his life to provide the resources we needed to achieve our

dreams. In order to build a strong family, we should respect our father for his commitment to his job and

for providing us with a life. For these reasons, my dad is deserving of this honor.
