IV. PROCEDURES
A. Reviewing previous Teacher will conduct a game which is a cabbage relay and instruct the
lesson or presenting student to slowly pass the cabbage to her/his seatmate as the music
the new lesson goes on. When the music stops, the student who holds the cabbage
will be the one to peel the cabbage and will answer the question
given.
Questions:
1. What is a verb?
(a word used to describe an action)
(example: crying, playing, jumping)
2. What is an adjective?
(a word that modifies or describe a noun or pronoun)
(Example: I like old houses, beautiful, tall, and wise)
C. Presenting The teacher will divide the class in to two (2) groups and their will be
examples/instances one representative to be the one who will act the given words that will
of the new lesson/ be picked inside the box the students will try to guess the title/phrase
Motivation part and acts out the phrase shown using hand signals and body motions
but no spoken words. The group who had the highest score will be
the winner.
D. Discussing new After formulation of the lesson which is all about adverb, the teacher

begin to discuss the meaning of the adverb. And the students read
practicing new skills
and analyse the meaning of the adverb which will lead them to the
definition of the adverb.
Types of Adverbs
Examples:
The teacher will conduct an activity in which the students will pass
the cabbage paper towards her/his seatmate and once the music stops
the one who hold the cabbage paper will be the one to a flower and
inside the flower there is a question in which the students will identify
the adverb/s and type of adverb in the given sentence.

1. She ran quickly to catch the bus.

3. He spoke softly to avoid waking up the baby.
