I have asked two of my friends a year level higher than me about the tasked survey question. My
evaluation about their knowledge of the relevance of this course is that their opinions were similar and
different at the same time and they quite know a lot more than me since they're ahead of me and are
answering from experience of the subject. They both said that it's an irrelevant as a course because:

1. "There is no practical application for them in the real world."

2. "We can easily learn about it if it was just a subject, not as a whole course."

The similarity being that those knowledge are easily accessible and no need for further assessment or in
depth study because they're mostly biography and lessons. That is what I have deducted from their
statements.

Person 1

I do believe that the course on rizal should be retained to be study in tertiary level because this
subject is part of our identity as a Filipino individuals that had raised patriotism in our heart to fight for
our country and stand to set our standard as a Filipino citizen. It is not lawful to demolish it to be
studied, as truthfully, Jose Rizal had played a significant part for us to have our freedom that foster the
development and growth of our identity in all aspects of our citizenship. Studying the course of Rizal
means preserving what our hero had fight and died for in order to protect our rights and earn our
independence despite the force of colonization that the Spaniards had brought to our country.

Person 2

Yes, because the particular reason for certain circumtances that rizal have taugt the Filipino to fight
from their rights to stand what is truth and he is an epitome of good filipino.
