Scene: Emergency department at 7 am shift. Meron dinalang 20 years old, 35 weeks pregnant. First
pregnancy.
Relative: She was just washing the dishes, and we were surprised to see her lying on the floor.
Relative: 33 weeks.
Napapansin ng nurse na basa yung lower half ng body. Ininspect ng nurse yung kanyang panubigan ay
pumtok na. Tinawagan ng nurse ang doctor then pinag start nan g IV. Medyo nag kamala yang Patient
Patient: (Mumulat)
Nurse 2: We have called your doctor. Did you know that your water broke?
Patient: I thought i just got wet from washing the dishes, so I didn't pay attention and then suddenly my
stomach hurt and that's all I remembered.
Nurse 2: We already refer you to your doctor and now we will take you to the delivery room for delivery,
your doctor will meet you there.
DELIVERY ROOM:
[The scene opens in a sterile and well-equipped delivery room. Nurse 1 is checking the medical
equipment, and Nurse 2 is assisting. Patient, the expectant mother, is on the delivery bed, breathing
heavily.]
Nurse 1: (Professional) Patient, you're doing great. We're here with you every step of the way.
Nurse 2: (Encouraging) Yes, Patient. Just a few more pushes, and you'll meet your little one.
[Patient nods and takes a deep breath.]
Nurse 1: (Guiding) Okay, Patient, let's get ready for another push.
[Patient pushes with all her might, and the room fills with anticipation.]
[After a few moments, the baby is born, and a cry fills the room. Nurse 1 holds the newborn.]
[Patient's face lights up with joy and relief as the baby is placed on her chest.]
Nurse 1: (Professional) We'll take care of both of you now, Patient. It's a beautiful day.
[Patient shares an emotional moment with her newborn, and the nurses continue to provide care and
support.]
WARD
[The scene takes place in a peaceful hospital ward. Nurse 1 and Nurse 2 are tending to patient, a new
mother, and her precious newborn.]
Nurse 1: (Gentle) Patient, you and your little one are doing wonderfully. We're here to make sure you
both are comfortable.
Nurse 2: (Caring) Yes, Patient, it's time to check on your baby and help you with any questions you might
have.
[Patient holds her newborn baby in her arms, a look of pure love on her face.]
Nurse 1: (Smiling) It's our pleasure. Now, let's take a look at her.
[Nurse 1 examines the baby while Nurse 2 ensures that Patient is comfortable.]
Nurse 2: (Reassuring) Patient, remember, we're here to help with breastfeeding and any concerns you
might have.
Patient: (Grateful) I appreciate your support. She latched on well earlier, but it's all so new to me.
Nurse 1: (Supportive) It's perfectly normal to feel that way. We'll guide you every step of the way.
Nurse 2: (Cheerful) she’s a healthy little one, Patient. You're off to a great start.
Patient: (Emotional) I can't believe she's finally here. I couldn't have done it without you both.
Nurse 1: (Touched) It's been our privilege to be a part of this special journey with you, patient.
