Fall 2023

Logan Abele
Leadership, to me, embodies the essence of being a servant leader—approachable, empathetic, and driven by a
genuine desire to foster the well-being and growth of employees, prioritizing their success and collectively striving
for the best outcomes.

Tiffany Abrams
Leadership is the desire to inspire and empower the best in others.

Jake Archambo
Leadership is being a person's biggest advocate and supporter, while also helping them find it within themselves to
be their best self and get them where they want to be.

Sarah Barsky
Leadership is recognizing your positionally and utilizing your privileges through allyship and accompaniment to
amplify the voices that the system has repeatedly tried to silence. Leadership is not trying to fit within the
stereotypical mold of what a leader “should” be, but working towards breaking down those barriers and
diversifying our perspectives on who we consider our leaders to be, in order to envision a future where we can use
our diverse backgrounds and lived experiences to recognize the leader that exists within all of us.

Peyton Blanco
Leadership is a reflection into the perils of our own self-betterment. The hope that through the bombardment of
internal and external obstacles, we have the capacity to grow, to change, and to develop the resilience to
overcome. It’s through our own introspective journey that we begin to serve as a guide to those who follow.

Maria Braatz
Leadership is pushing others to accomplish a common goal, while staying authentic to your own principles. A
leader strives to be honest and open with a team to help find their strengths.

hesitation. It is more than just a title; it is something that is developed and fine-tuned and is ever-evolving.

Will DeKlotz
Leadership is discerning when to provide guidance and when to empower others to take the lead, identifying
where to create spaces for diverse perspectives to flourish, embodying a clear why that resonates with the team's
values, and skillfully demonstrating through actions how each individual contributes to the greater vision.

alongside others that cultivates growth for everyone involved.

excellence.

knowledge to continue bridging the gaps that divide us.
