Norwegian Cruise Line Adding Nearly 1,000 Solo Cabins

Indianapolis, IN, Oct. 11, 2023 - Norwegian Cruise Line will add close to 1,000 dedicated
staterooms for guests traveling on their own.

Starting Jan. 2, 2024, guests will be able to stay in the new Solo Inside, Solo Oceanview and
Solo Balcony cabin categories. Prices for these options will vary based on the destination and
demand.

A week-long Alaskan cruise departing from Seattle in April 2024, will cost $1,799 for a solo
balcony cabin, while a normal balcony cabin will cost almost $2,000.

“We strive to provide our guests with diverse offerings to create their dream vacation,” said the
Norwegian Cruise Line’s president, David J. Herrera. “Since we first launched our solo
staterooms in 2010 with Norwegian Epic, they have been quite popular with single travelers.”

The line will also begin offering solo activities for guests sailing by themselves. These ventures
will give guests something to do while on board, as well as allow solo travelers to meet other
people on the cruise.

USA Today reporter Morgan Hines thoroughly enjoyed taking a cruise by herself. “In a totally
new environment and without anyone in my life, I had a true escape, being nearly untied to my
life at home.”

Nathan,

As you are looking to report new travel news, I’d like to suggest Norwegian Cruise Line’s new
solo travel options. We are adding 1,000 rooms throughout our fleet specifically for solo cruisers.

Guests that stay in our new staterooms can expect to pay less than a traditional double occupancy
room. We have cruise options for destinations like Hawaii, the Caribbean, Alaska, and more.

This is just one of the steps that we are taking to deliver the experience that guests are looking
and asking for.

I would appreciate it if you would consider writing about this new and exciting offer. If you need
any more information on these rooms for solo travelers, feel free to reach out to me.

Thanks for your consideration,
