Norwegian Cruise Line Expands Options for Solo Travelers

Miami, FL – October 6, 2023 – Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is proud to announce a significant
enhancement to its guest offerings with the introduction of close to 1,000 dedicated staterooms
for solo travelers across its entire fleet. “This is a significant step in our ongoing journey to
redefine and elevate the cruise experience for all our guests.” David J. Herrera, President. By
introducing the solo category of staterooms, NCL aims to make solo travel more accessible,
enjoyable, and accommodating.

Guests can choose from a variety of staterooms, namely Solo Inside, Solo Oceanview, and Solo
Balcony. The staterooms will become available for sailings departing Jan. 2, 2024 or later, and
will become available on a rolling basis. Guests who book a solo stateroom will also enjoy
access to our new private lounge, where they can meet other solo travelers, relax in a calm
environment, or simply take in the ocean views.

The decision to include solo travel as an option aligns with the company’s value of inclusivity,
along with the growing demand for solo travel. NCL aims to deliver the experience our guests
want, and cater to them in the best way possible. Guests who book solo staterooms can expect
to pay less than a traditional double occupancy room, while enjoying the same comfort and
amenities provided by Norwegian Cruise Line.
