COORDINATION: This is the organization of the different elements of a complex body or


activity so as to enable them to work together effectively. Coordination is defined as the
working together of various organs of the body of an organism in a proper manner to
produce appropriate reaction to a stimulus

TYPES OF COORDINATION
1. fine motor skills: Fine motor skill is the coordination of small muscles in
movement with the eyes, hands and fingers.
2. gross motor skill: Gross motor skill development involves the large muscles in
the arms, legs and torso.
3. hand-eye skills: Hand-eye coordination is the body's ability to process
information received through the eyes and use it to direct movements of the
hands to complete a task or skill.

MOTOR COORDINATION:
Motor coordination is the ability to use multiple body parts for a particular action. Also,
it is the orchestrated movement of multiple body parts as required to accomplish
intended actions, like walking, jumping, lifting activities, running etc.
