This is the proposed comprehensive set of mechanics and rules for the upcoming Cheer
Dance Competition, aiming to create a safe, engaging, and memorable event for all
participants.
Judging Criteria:
1. Cheer (10 points):

Variety of Dance Elements (7 points)

Rules:
1. The order of performances will be determined by a random draw conducted prior
to the competition. Houses will be notified of their performance order in advance.
2. Each routine must have a minimum of 5 minutes and not exceed 7 minutes,
starting from entrance to exit.
3. The scoring system must use a scale of 1 to 10 for each criterion, with half-point
increments.
4. There will be a deduction of 2 points for exceeding the time limit and for each
violation of specific rules.
5. Lifting and dangerous stunts are strictly prohibited. Houses must focus on
creative choreography without compromising safety.
6. All participants must wear their respective team shirts during the performance.
7. Each house is limited to a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 30 participants.
8. The committee must ensure that a panel of experienced judges with a
background in dance or cheerleading will judge the event.
9. The decision of the judges is final and irrevocable.
Tie-Breaking Procedures:
1. Overall Impression:
Judges deliberate and collectively determine the winner based on the
overall impact and impression of the routine.
2. Technical Execution:
Review the technical execution scores to break the tie.
