4: Provide a report to describe the condition of an existing building, identifying the
work required to repair or alter the building with consideration to the
requirements of the Building Code.
Instructions
Complete and submit your assessment according to the Open Polytechnic's

Scenario
Your client would like to renovate and potentially extend their home to enable an ageing
relative to move in with them. They would like to know if the site has enough space to
extend their home in some way (up to 30 m2).
Before proceeding with the additions or alterations to their property, they want to be
aware of the upcoming maintenance requirements for the existing building.
