Committee Report

SUBJECT: An Ordinance strengthening the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management System
in the municipality of Solana.

Findings: The ordinance aims to strengthen the capacity of the municipality of Solana in
relation to the prevention of disaster and disaster preparedness. The ordinance covers the conduct
of trainings so that the constituents will be fully prepared or aware on how to cope-up with
calamities. The said ordinance includes also the creation of technical working group as well as
the personnel that Manage the office Incorporated also in the said ordinance are the equipments
needed.

Recommendation: WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing, the committee respectfully

recommends for its approval.
