1. Reliability -
2. Validity -
Correctness of data
3. Replicability -
Degree to which the study have enough information for verification of results by repeating study.
4. Generalizability -
The degree to which the results of the study can be generalized or meaningful for the majority of the population
1. Finding can be generalized if selection process is well-designed, and sample is enough to represent the study
population
1. Many kinds of information are difficult to obtain through structured data collection.
Structured- No follow up questions, answers yes/no, not given any chance to explain answers
2. Research methods are inflexible because the instruments cannot be modified once the study begins.
Answers:
1. The strengths of quantitative methods are the findings can be generalized and is enough to represent the
study population, wherein it is not necessary to cover all the population, but the selected ones are enough to
represent the majority of the population. Quantitative data are easy to analyze because it is measured with numbers,
in which we can see the result of data by numbers unlike in Qualitative where we still need to explore the datas to find
the result of the finding. Data can be consistent because
2. The weakness of Quantitative method is that the information are difficult to obtain through structured data
collection because through conducting surveys, it won’t allow you to ask more follow up questions that limits the
further more information from the respondents.
3. The method that is better to use is the Quantitative method because for me it is easier to collect the data and
information from the respondents because it uses statistical tools. unlike in Qualitative where we still need to explore
the datas to find the result of the finding+
