Course Description

Course on: Estimation, Rate Schedule Analysis & BOQ of High-Rise RCC
Building.

Welcome to Course on Estimation, Rate Schedule Analysis & BOQ of High-Rise RCC Building using
Excel. It is focused on practical application of Estimation using M.S Excel. This course is a field-oriented
course and contains real examples and a full fledge 7-Storey real project for better understanding.
After successful completion of this course, you will be able to Estimate a complete RCC Building Project.

Software Use:
• AutoCAD
• MS Excel

Duration:
• Total duration: 1.5 Month
• Total 10 Class = 5 Weeks x 2 Class per Week x 2 Hours per Class = 20 Total Hours

Requirements for Attending the Course:

• To have Auto Cad and M.S Excel operating idea.

• To have the minimum understanding for Civil Quantity/Estimation
• To have a minimum understanding of construction processes.

PART 04- RATE SCHEDULE ANALYSIS

In order to determine the rate of a particular item, the factors affecting the rate of that item are
studied carefully and then finally a rate is decided for that item. This process of determining the rates
of an item is termed as analysis of rates or rate analysis.

• To work out the actual cost of per unit of the items

• To work out the economical use of materials and processes in completing the particulars item.

• To work out the cost of extra items which are not provided in the contract bond, but are to be

done as per the directions of the department.

• To revise the schedule of rates due to increase in the cost of material
