UNIT 6: OUR TET HOLIDAY


Period 43 - Lesson 2: A closer look 1
I. OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- Use the vocabularies to talk about topic of the lesson Our Tet holiday.
- Teach/ introduce how to combine a verb with a noun.
- Pronounce and recognize the sounds /s/ and /∫/ correctly.
II. LANGUAGE ANALYSIS
1. Knowledge
* Vocabulary: words related to the topic “Our Tet holiday”
* Pronunciation: Sounds: /s/ and /∫/
2. Skills
- Improve skills: speaking, listening, writing about “Our Tet holiday”.
- Form and develop the ability to self-study, solve problems and use technology.

- To educate the love and preservation of traditional customs and traditions.
- To have a good behavior toward the adults and the elderly people on Tet holiday.
4. Competences
- Know how to pronounce and recognize the sounds /s/ and /∫/.
- Ss will be developed listening and speaking.

I. Warm-up (5’)
* Aim: To activate students’ prior knowledge and vocabulary related to the topic, the
targeted vocabularies and its pronunciation.
