Proving Theorems Related to Chords, Arcs, Central Angles and Inscribed Angles

I. Learning Competency with Codes

Prove theorems related to chords, arcs, central angle, and inscribed angles. (M10GE-IIe-

II. Background Information for Learners

As you get through this, you are expected to prove theorems related to chords, arcs,
central angles , and inscribed angles

1. In a circle or in congruent circles, two minor arcs are congruent if and only if their corresponding
central angles are congruent.

If ʘE below, ¿ SETB ≅ ≠. Since the two central angle are congruent, the minor arcs
they intercept are also congruent. Hence, ST ≅ NO

independently. Complete athe activity so that you will be able to prove theorems related
to chords, arcs, central angle, and inscribed angles. You may use other references or
browse the internet if there are concepts or terminologies that are not familiar to you for
better understanding. You may also contact your teacher if necessary.
