Subject: rules and guidelines at workplace
Dear Mr Peter
I am an HR manager. I will mention our company's rules and guidelines at workplace.
There is some etiquette of the company that you need to know to have a good
impression on everyone in the company. The first, you should arrive on time or even a
few minutes early. Our company’s start at 8 am and finish at 5 pm. The second, you
ought to wear uniform when you come to the company everyday. If you don't wear a
uniform, you won't be able to enter the company because that's the rule. Next, you
should avoid gossiping, talking about religion, marital status, age, etc. Because it's
sensitive issues. You ought to mention neutral topics such as sport, hoppy, weather,
work, office, etc. Besides, you should turn off telephone during meetings. You
mustn’t smoke inside the office building and eating, chatting, surfing Facebook,
playing games,etc during working hours.
