Now, we are able to organize a frequency distribution table with the gathered data. Here is the
table below:
C.
1. Provide a short description or explanation about the distribution of the yearly tuition fee
of the grade 11 students based on the frequency distribution table. What is the largest
tuition fee? The smallest?

Frequency Table Data

(Annual Tuiti on Fee)

Frequency

0 up to 13,000 13,000 up to 26,000 26,000 up to 39,000 39,000 up to 52,000

With the organized data in the frequency table, we can observe from the data
gathered that the greatest number of tuition fees being paid annually ranges from ₱13,000
up to ₱26,300; having a frequency of 8. Next to the line are the range of ₱0 up to ₱13,000
and ₱26,000 up to ₱39,300 with a frequency count of 3. Lastly, the range of ₱39,000 up
to ₱52,000 have a count of 2; being the lowest among the rest. This observation shows
Fernandez, Andrea E.
11 - STEM

that students who pay annual tuition fees in the range of ₱13,000 up to ₱26,000 were
most frequent, indicating that most of the students from the data gathered pay a low
amount of annual tuition fee. In addition, regarding the data gathered, the largest tuition
was ₱52,000 while the smallest tuition fee was ₱0.

2. What is the typical yearly tuition fee of the grade 11 students?

a. mean

mean=

which is 18,200.

₱52,000 ₱18,800 ₱15,000

₱36,000 ₱18,200 ₱15,000
₱36,000 ₱18,200 ₱10,500
₱32,000 ₱18,200 ₱3,750
₱25,000 ₱15,400 ₱0

c. mode

To find the mode, let us see which is the most occurring among the values with the
table below.

₱52,000 ₱18,800 ₱15,000

₱36,000 ₱18,200 ₱15,000
₱36,000 ₱18,200 ₱10,500
₱32,000 ₱18,200 ₱3,750
₱25,000 ₱15,400 ₱0

We can see from the table above that 18,200 is the most common value in the data
set. This means that 18,200 will be the mode of the dataset.
It's now possible to figure out how much it costs to go to Kingfisher School of
Business and Finance for the S.Y. 2021-2022. Though the results can look in many
different ways, I'd like to share my thoughts about the results of the central tendency.
People who go to school in grade 11 pay between ₱13,000 and ₱26,000. This is based on
the results from the table above, which show that the mean is 20,936; the median is
18,200; and the mode is 18,200, respectively.
From the median and mode results, we can say that the typical amount of annual
tuition fee in this data is ₱18,200.
