B. Presentation

The teacher presents the topic for the day. Hyponyms are the

specific examples of a general word.

Examples:

Guava is a hyponym of Fruit.

Horse is a hyponym of Animal.

Yellow is a hyponym of Color.

C. Application

The teacher’s next activity is entitled “True or False”. The teacher


explains the mechanics of the activity. To make it clear to them what

hyponyms are.

D. Generalization

The teacher asks a volunteer to summarize the lesson.
