The line graph compares the percentage of group of people from aged 14 to 54 on cinema attendance in

the United Kingdom over a period of 20 years. Overall, the proportion of 44-54 age rose with some
fluctuations, but still had the highest percentage of cinema participation.

In 1990, Aged 44-54 had the highest percentage of cinema attendance, at around 38%, followed by aged
34-44,24-34 having approximately 37%, 24% respectively. The proportion of attendance during the
initial year in the UK was nearly one tenth that for aged 14-24, at merely around 15%. Between 1990
and 2005 , the figure for aged 44-55 increased slowly with some variations, and reached at around 51%
in 2010. Likewise, the aged 34-44 started at 37% in 1990 followed by a small increase to around 44% in
2010. Over the given 20 year period, the rate of visit the cinema for aged 24-34 and 14-24 rose by about
6-7%.
