This graph indicates the data about the average for carbon dioxide emissions for each person

of five
countries from 1967 to 2007. Overall, it can be seen that the metric tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions
in the Italy and Portugal increased over the period, While the proportion for the other countries
decreased.

There was a dramatic fall CO2 emissions in the United Kingdom and Sweden. United Kingdom`s
emissions of carbon dioxide stood at 11 metric tonnes in 1967, higher than other three countries.
However, the amount of carbon dioxide declined slightly over the next 40 years to finish 9 tonnes in
2007. Regarding, Sweden started at 9 tonnes of Co2 emissions in 1967 followed by a small increase to
around 11 tonnes in 1977. Then, it decreased gradually until it fell to just over 5 tonnes in 2007.

In contrast, average carbon dioxide in the Italy and Portugal saw more moderate rose over the period. 1
tonnes of Co2 emissions in Portugal in 1967, and these tonnes gradually increased over the period to
finish at 5 tonnes in 2007, Likewise , Italy grew steadily to 9 tonnes in 2007
