four decades, in 1967 to 2007.

It is clear that the average of carbon dioxide emissions per person in Portugal was increased significantly
between 1967 to 2007. In contrast with Sweden, the average of carbon dioxide emissions was decreased
drastically.

In 1967, the line graphs of emission per person in Portugal shown approximately 1 ton, then increased
significantly almost 5 tons for over three decades. The figures of Italy shown that the increased of
emissions were not too drastically, it shown about 4 tons between 1967 to 2007.

In 1967 to 1977, the emissions in Sweden increased from 8 to 10 tons, but the emissions fell about more
than 4 tons between 1977 to 2007. Different with Sweden, the average of carbon dioxide emissions in
United Kingdom have been decreased more than 3 tons in four decades.
