You should write at least 175 words.

Because the learning process is necessary for everyone, today a number of
individuals go to schools and colleges. In this essay, I will examine several
similarities and differences between school and college.

Firstly, there are several similarities between school and college. The first
similarity is that both school and college are learning institutions. To illustrate,
studying and learning mainly take place in them. Another similarity is the school
has the same classrooms as the college. For instance, in both you can find chairs,
tables, ACs, computers and projectors. One more similarity is the school has a lot
of services and facilities, and the college does too. For examples, students learn
and get information in both by using libraries and laboratories. The final similarity
is the school can be compared to the college as both have teachers from different
countries. Actually, foreign teachers in schools are as professional as those in
colleges.

Although there are a number of similarities, there are several differences between
school and college. First, the school has fixed timetables, while the college has
flexible timetables. In fact, most schools begin at 7:00 and finish at 1:30. In
contrast, colleges start in the morning or afternoon. In addition, because each
college includes many specializations, they have many buildings. On the other
hand, the school has one building. Moreover, the types of food served in the school
differ from the ones given in the college. Obviously, unlike school students who
can eat limited types of food, college students enjoy eating a variety of delicious
foods. Furthermore, unlike school, has mixed classes. Another difference is the
language used in teaching. For instance, in school subjects are taught using Arabic
and English, yet in college the medium of instruction is only English. Lastly, the
number of the subjects in school is different from the number of the subjects in
college. Whereas schools teatoch a wide range of subjects such as, Islamic studies,
physics, chemistry and history, colleges teach few subjects namely, English, Math
and IT.

To conclude, we can see that school and college are similar and different in many
ways. In my opinion, people prefer studying at colleges as they are more
interesting and they provide higher educational qualifications.
