PART 1: This is all about yourself.

as pdf), fill up this table:

POSITIVE OWN HAPPINESS

on the
lessons) (BE DETAILED

AS POSSIBLE)

actualization potential, -Explore different
basically peak kinds of skills or
condition. hobbies that you
excel at
-Be able to admit
to positive and
negative
feedbacks from
yourself and from
others.
-Everybody has
different timing
on being in peak
condition, it
doesn’t come
instantly, it needs
process and
dedication, and
patience, in order
to find what you
are really capable
of.
# 2: Character Positive -Be aware of the
Strengths attributes of an positive and
individual that negative

doesn’t mean
that you won’t do
anything about it,
make sure to
improve it as
well.
- Don’t dwell on
attributes that
can’t be fixed,
move on to the
next one. Time is
precious.
- Remember that
you started from
the bottom like
everybody else.
Be humble.

COLUMN 1: Select any positive psychology

concepts discussed in the class. This
concept must have something to teach
you how to have a happy life.

COLUMN 2: Define the term using your

own words.
Don’t use the definition you copied in
your notes. Paraphrase the way you
understood it (but make sure you have a
correct understanding).

COLUMN 3: Think of a happiness habit

that you will do starting today that will make
your life happier. This happiness habit
must be derived from the concept in
column 1. When I (or you)read this part,
I need to clearly see the specific steps
how the happiness habit is applied. This
part must be clear enough that I can also
do/apply the happiness habit you are
promoting (think of this as an “instructional
manual” how to do the happiness habit you
came up with). You can write this in
a bulleted or non-bulleted form (as long as
I can really follow the step by step process
of your happiness habit).

NOTE: You are only required to have 2

positive psychology concepts for this part.

PART 2: Think of a person you know

(someone you have a personal connection
with; you care about; you see everyday/almost
everyday). Fill in the details below:

Name of the person: Christopher

Your relationship with this person: Close friend

This part is similar to part 1. The only

difference is: you will come up with
happiness habits that YOU WILL DO FOR
THIS PERSON TO MAKE HIM/HER
HAPPIER. Fill in the table below:

POSITIVE OWN HAPPINESS

PSYCHOLOGY DEFINITION HABIT YOU
CONCEPTS (but based WILL
on the APPLY TO
lessons) ANOTHER
PERSON(BE
DETAILED AS

POSSIBLE)
# 1: Self- To find one’s true -part 1 applies to
actualization potential, this part. The
basically peak next bullet point
condition. is for this person.
-To realize one’s
true potential,
you need to know
that there really
is no limitation to
what a person
can be, keep
striving for
answers and
improvements.
# 2: Self- Positive - part 1 applies to
esteem attributes of an this part. The
individual that next bullet points
can be physical, are for this
mental, or person.
emotional. - Remember that
you can turn your
positives into
negatives.
- If you look good,
you need to also
act good.
Remember that
there are cakes
that look pretty
but can deceive
you with its
horrible taste.

COLUMN 1: Select any positive psychology

concepts discussed in the class. This
concept must have something to teach
you how to have a happy life. THE
CONCEPTS HERE MUST BE DIFFERENT
FROM THE ONES YOU IDENTIFIED IN PART
1.
COLUMN 2: Define the term using your
own words.
Don’t use the definition you copied in
your notes. Paraphrase the way you
understood it (but make sure you have a
correct understanding).

COLUMN 3: Think of a happiness habit

that you will apply to the person you
identified. The happiness habits in this
column must describe specific behaviors you
will do to this person that will increase his/her
happiness. Again, the habits here must
be derived from the concepts you identified
in column 1. Be detailed as you can.
This column must be detailed enough that I
can replicate this happiness habit to someone
I
personally know (say my mom/dad).

NOTE: You are only required to have 2

positive psychology concepts for this part.
Again, positive psychology concepts in part 1
and part 2 must not be the same.

***After completing parts 1 and 2, create

a video presentation where you will discuss
to me your happiness habits you came
up with. Think of this as simply
delivering a report in a face to face
class. You can do this by screen
recording yourself and using a Powerpoint
presentation (or you can just use the PDF file you
accomplished) as visuals.

***Another option is you can choose to

already apply these plans. Video
record yourself applying these to
yourself/yourselected person. In this format,
discuss what happiness strategies you
used, how you applied these and how did you
feel/the selected person felt after applying
these strategies.

***Guidelines for the video presentation:

1.) I should see your face while you are

discussing your visuals. This is
to counter ChatGPT capabilities.

2.) English, Tagalog or Taglish can be

used (choose the language you are
most comfortable with)

3.) Time limit: 15 Minutes (7.5 Minutes for

both parts 1 and 2). Maximum
of 20 minutes (don’t go beyond
this!)
4.) Your choice of visuals: Powerpoint or
the PDF file you completed. You
choose which one you are comfortable
with.

5.) No need for fancy editing (I

focus on content not on video
aesthetics).

6.) After completing the video presentation,

UPLOAD TO YOUR YOUTUBE
CHANNEL (If you don’t have one,
create one-SO EASY AND IT’S FREE!).
You will send the YT link (NOT
THE VIDEO FILE) through Canvas (I
will create a submission link for
this). Make sure you set the
visibility of your video to
UNLISTED (Meaning your video
is for my eyes only...because I have
the link). Making your video
public is OPTIONAL/NOT REQUIRED.

7.) NOTE: All these are just PLANS. It

is up to you if you will apply
these plans to yourself and the
person you identified. I am
hoping you will. But the point of
the project is: at least you already
have the plan. You cannot
apply anything without having a
concrete plan. Right? This project
accomplishes the first step.
