Document Development Exposition: White Paper

Explain in detail your document’s development from planning to finish, describing your
challenges, how you overcame them, and what you learned.

Planning
Coming up with an idea for this assignment was difficult because storms have never been a real issue
for a lot of people. Then I thought about all the damage hurricane Katrina did and all the people who
died because of it so I decided to use this as my topic.

First Draft (for peer editing)

This draft I outlined what I wanted to do I had a lot of trouble having enough to write to reach the
minimum word count because there is not a lot of info on the points I wanted to explore which were
costs of anti-storm precautions.

Second Draft (for your packet)

My packet draft came together as I did a lot of research on the topic and went through a lot of
different websites to make my final copy.

Final Draft (for your portfolio)

My white paper needed a lot of work I did not portray my problem properly and the formatting
needed work so I went back and addressed these issues.
