MRI REPORT – LEFT SHOULDER

TECHNIQUE:
PD FS Axial, Coronal & Sagittal, T2 Coronal
OBSERVATION:
Moderate tendinosis of supraspinatus tendon.
Mild tendinosis of infraspinatus and subscapularis tendons.
Tear noted in the antero-inferior labrum at 3-5 o'clock position .
Sprain in the acromio-clavicular joint.
Traction cysts noted at insertion site of infraspinatus and subscapularis tendons.
Type I acromion seen.
The glenohumeral joint appears normal.
The long head of biceps and its attachment appears normal.
The teres minor tendon appear normal.
The bursae around the shoulder joint appear normal.
No significant abnormality is seen in the muscles.
IMPRESSION:
Previous reports available: No
 Moderate tendinosis of supraspinatus tendon.
 Mild tendinosis of infraspinatus and subscapularis tendons.
 Tear in antero-inferior labrum at 3-5 o'clock position .
 Sprain in the acromio-clavicular joint.
