The whole month of November, by virtue of Proclamation No. 837 s. 1991, is declared as Library
and Information (LIS) Month in order to focus public awareness to the invaluable service that libraries
and information centers render such as providing data and materials for the long knowledge and learning
for research and for leisure

November is Library and Information Services (LIS) Month and 24-30 November is National
Book Week (NBW)!

The 32nd LIS month objectives are to:

1. Raise awareness in the library community and beyond (through events, social media, websites,
blogs, and mailing lists) about the importance of libraries to development.

2. Realize the value and importance of the services provided by libraries and information centers.

3. Showcase creativity through different activities that can promote libraries and love for reading.
PARTNERSHIP INVITATION

Following Proclamation No. 837 s. 1991, the entire month of November has been declared as Library and
Information (LIS) Month to raise awareness of the vital services that libraries and information centers
offer, including the provision of information and resources for lifelong learning for both research and
enjoyment.

With this, The Inditers, the official student publication of BUPC joins in celebrating the 32nd Library
Information and Services (LIS) Month with the theme, "Mga Aklatan Bilang Kanlungan ng Karunungan:
Tagapangalaga ng Kultura at Pamanang Lokal” through an initiative entitled, “

The month of October is the celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month in the Philippines. The
stigma attached to mental illness can be reduced via education and recognition. With the help of Mental
Health Awareness Month, a conversation can be started.

To celebrate the said event, the Bicol University College of Science - College Student Council will
spearhead a Mental Health Awareness Project for the academic year 2022-2023 in this month of October
2022. KUMUSTA KA SIYENTISTA? A MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS PROJECT is an
online event through the official social media accounts of BUCS-CSC. This event will be held on October
24-28, 2022, through the use of social media platforms by means of posting publicity materials that aim to
promote the event’s objectives. The target participants will be all interested individuals from Bicol
University.

In line with this, we humbly invite your esteemed organization to become one of our MEDIA
