Researchers have been able to make specific observations about people from some countries,
such as the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia,
Philippines, Thailand, China, Japan, South Korea, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Turkey , Egypt,
Morocco, South Africa, etc. These specific observations allow researchers to compare and
contrast different cultures and better understand how they function.
• What do you think is the main point of this reading?

The main point of this reading is to know how different people's personalities are depending
on the country where they are from.

Some of the ones that stand out the most in this reading are extroverted, introverted and
neurotic traits.

Do you know what all of them are? Do you consider yourself to be

I consider that I could fit with the extrovert trait because my interest is oriented toward
interaction with the people around me.

traits of people from your region?

that in my region where I live (Ecuador) we are very enthusiastic and optimistic as well as
extroverted and charismatic among all our people.
