At the outset, we would like to thank you for having made enquiries on the above subject before we venture to
discuss about our rates and other points pertinent to supplying and erecting a most modern, economical and
strong lift to cater to your needs, we would like to tell you about ourselves briefly

and placing an order on us for the elevator of your choice. The lift we offer now is completely of indigenous make.
We have already installed a number lifts. We also would like to inform you of the feet that we have a full- fledged
service depot at Hyderabad where we have trained and experienced persons capable of giving satisfactory after-
sales-service. Further, we keep a reasonable stock of good spare parts, which will be of Considerable assistance to
us in rendering prompt and quick service to our lifts when required.
We are mentioning all these things, as we are sure you will appreciate the importance of prompt after sales
service to electromechanical equipment’s like lifts, which can cause considerable annoyance to the owners and

TERMS AND CONDITONS OF PAYMENTS

• 50% of contract value as interest free advance along with the order.
• 40% of the contract value on Receive of the material as your site.
• 10% of the contract value on completion of erection before handing over of lift.

MAINTENANCE & WARRANTY: We shall provide free comprehensive maintenance and warranty for the
period of 12 months from the date of handing over of the lift.

All cheques / Drafts must be drawn in favor of TNR LIFTS .

This offer, accepted by you, shall constitute the contract between us to make this offer a Legal and valid
contract, binding on both parties.

CUSTOMER RELATED WORKS:
 Lift Pit should be clear & dry and maintained as per GAD.
 No projection inside the shaft throughout the shaft height at well as the pit. Shaft lighting is provided
as per requirements.
 Finished floor levels (FFL) are marked at all floors in the entrance walls.

MACHINE ROOM:
 Machine room to be constructed.
 Load hooks are to be provided in the machine room top slab as per GAD.
 Cross Ventilation to be provided as per our requirement.
 Machine room is received with a lockable door.
 Sufficient lighting is to be made in the machine room.
 Access staircase with handrails shall be provided as per our requirement.
 M/c room door should be 915 mm width x 2100 height min.
 22 Nos. earth leads is taken to the machine room and duly terminated on a bus bar in the machine
room with 6 holes for our termination.
 3 Phase main power supply made available at the machine room duly terminated with switch box.

STORAGE:
Lockable storeroom approximately 40 sq meters is provided in the ground floor / basement, nearer to the
shaft with necessary access to reach the shaft.

NOTE: OUR SCOPE OF SUPPLY DOES NOT INCLUDE:


 Scaffolding
 Minor Builder Works like making chases, holes, and drilling in concrete, still angles, safety guards
during erection and other civil related works.
 Electrical Wiring & earthling up to the main switch in lift machine room power panel. Lighting and
power wiring in the hoist way.
 Architraves in all landings.
 Safe lockable storeroom approximately 10 sq. meters is to be provided.

MAINTENANCE / WARRANTY.
Our quotations includes for Twelve months free maintenance. The period of this free maintenance
deemed to commence on the date the installation is completed and offered for inspection. The date of
commencement of this service will remain unchanged irrespective of any delay in building completion,
availability of permanent power supply, inspection, taking over or commencing use of the elevators.
Maintenance will consist of regular examinations and any necessary adjustment and lubrication of the
equipment by competent employees under our direction and supervision. The required and parts will be
furnished except such parts as may be needed because of negligence, misuse or accidents not caused by us.
Upon your request, special examination will be made should trouble develop between regular examinations
and you agree to notify us promptly of any such trouble. All work will be performed during our regular
working hours of our regular working days except for emergency minor adjustment call back service, which
will be provided during regular working hours and also during any overtime hours. No work or service
other than the specifically mentioned is included or intended.

It is agreed that we do not assume possession or control any part of the equipment but such remains your
exclusively as the owner (or lessee) thereof. We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or delay due to any
cause beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to acts of government, strikes, fire
explosion, theft, floods, riots, civil commotion, war malicious mischief or act of God. Under no circumstances
shall we be liable for consequential damages.

CANCELLATION OF CONTRACT :
a) In the event of cancellation of contract, we shall be charging you as under.
b) 10% of the contract value if the Order is cancelled before the general arrangement drawing is
prepared.
c) 25% of the contract value if the Order is cancelled within 1(One) month after the general
arrangement drawing is approved.
d) 90% of the contract value if the Order is cancelled after the material has been delivered at your site
DELIVERY SCHEDULE
ERECTION:
In our quotation we have included erecting the lift, components and all skilled and unskilled labor required
to complete the erection, wiring and testing of the lift. The erection period shall be reckoned from the date
on which the lift well is handed over to us after all civil portion of the work has been completed. The time
required to complete the erection work is 12 (twelve) weeks.
If the handing over of the site as specified order is delayed from your side then the supply land installation
will be deferred so as to synchronize with the site completion. In view of this, you will have to grant us
the necessary extension in the completion period without imposition of any condition.
We do not take any responsibility for delay delivery our handing over of the lift, if the terms of payment are
not observed or if your obligations as specified under preparatory work are not fulfilled in time or if
formalities are delayed due to non-payment of fees or if necessary technical details are missing or the
approved layout drawings etc., are not received by us in time without prejudice to our claims under this
contract.
The above delivery land erection periods are given in faith based on present day working conditions and are
subject to extension to cover delays due to force major conditions. You will not be entitled to claim damages
for any loss directly in indirectly attributable to delay in delivery.

HANDING OVER:
To minimize inconvenience to both the parties, you will agree to take over the lift as soon as the erection is
completed. Our erection crew will test and adjust the lift and will give you about a week’s prior notice for
your taking over the lift. Please note that our erectors have instructions not to allow customer usage of the
lift until they are officially taken over.

TITLE TO PROPERTY:
Any materials supplied by us shall remain our property until payment is received in full and the lift is
handed over. We reserve the right to ourselves to remove any equipment supplied by us at your cost in case
of default of any payment by you, irrespective of the manner of attachment to the reality, sale, mortgage or
lease of the premises.

VALIDITY:
Unless otherwise specified, our quotation is effective for 30(thirty) days from the date of offer and thereafter
it is subject to change or withdrawal without notice at our sole declaration.

CUSTOMER PERSONNEL TRAINING :


To facilitate training of few persons to do minor maintenance, and for proper handling of the Elevator, we
are prepared to do the following:
1. After handing over the Elevator, our installation Engineer will train up to two persons to be nominated
by you on the handling of the Elevator and routine daily maintenance for a period of one week.

2. Train your personnel on rescue of passengers in case of power failure / emergency. Please note that the
above service can be terminated by us without notice, if your opinion your employees conduct is
determined to the interest of GENUINE LIFTS. The above are also contingent on your accepting complete
responsibility for your employee’s expenses, insurance Etc.
