experience teaching high-school students and adults in various governmental and
private institutions of our country and have seen many students come and go.
Yevheniia is one of the most dedicated and hard-working individuals I have taught
who uniquely stands out.
I have been an ESL Teacher at the private school “Success Language
Center” in Izmail and had the pleasure to work with Yevheniia Mykhailova for the
past two years and to be her IELTS preparation tutor as well. During our time
together, she has been a valuable asset for our group, displayed strong character
together with great passion for learning and embraced challenges with a positive
attitude. When we first met, Yevheniia demonstrated an average level of
knowledge, but during her time in my class she was incredibly adaptable and could
handle any task that came up, which made her English level grow far more than
that of her peers. Nevertheless, she also eagerly worked in collaboration with peers
and showed respect for different perspectives.
Not only did Yevheniia work in a team, but also she effectively
demonstrated time-management skills by working well independently and taking
responsibility for her own learning during our IELTS preparation course.
Yevheniia has also been a member of our local tennis club for more than
three years which also had a positive impact on the willpower she possesses. Being
a winner of numerous local and regional couple dance competitions, she shows
resilience in the face of setbacks and demonstrates her willingness to persevere in
any field.
It's not just her personal skills that impress me. Apart from learning English
with our group, she was also a member of a musical club and took lessons with a
native speaker in a volunteer organization “This Child Here”, whose mission is to
empower vulnerable youth and families of Ukraine to lead lives grounded in peace
and dignity. There she also showed genuine compassion for younger students from
refugee families and helped them with their studies, giving them moral support in
collaboration with the teachers. Moreover, Yevheniia took part in cleaning our
local river port together with other volunteers after the drone attack in summer,
which doubled her empathy and stress resilience.

Taking into consideration all character traits and skills mentioned above, it is
my pleasure to strongly recommend Yevheniia Mykhailova to the psychology
program and I am absolutely confident that she would achieve great things at your
