Personal Statement:
I am a highly motivated individual, looking to enter the world of Radio and TV. I have
technical skills, communication skills, and an eagerness to learn and develop new skills. I
am willing to do whatever it takes to be able to progress in this industry. In my current and
previous part time jobs, I have made connections with both staff and customers, examples of
this is in my current job, I have a strong connection with many of the regular customers. I am
motivated to push myself and move forward with my career.

Skills:
I have a high level of communication skills that enable me to work well with groups of
people. These skills make it easier for me to collaborate with people to provide a good
service. I have a willingness to learn new skills, this to me is essential when it comes to a job
because the development of skills is an important part to advancing in a job. I already have a
good amount of skills in adobe software like Photoshop, Premiere Pro & After Effects, I did
teach myself a majority of these skills and have also advanced these skills in my spare time.
I also have knowledge in production equipment like DSLR Cameras, Video Cameras and
Radio Decks, this is mostly due to what I have been taught in college. I have a high amount
of team working and leadership skills in large or small groups, this has been acquired
throughout previous job where I have had to work with groups of people to provide a service,
this links into another skills that I have that is meeting deadlines, because I had to meet a
deadline to provide a good service, this was all while working under pressure.

through the tills, I also clean tables, this includes at the end of night cleaning that I also carry
out. In addition to this, I run the social media for the pub, this includes creating
advertisements to bring attention to events, offers and food.

Hobbies & Interests:


As an individual that has a high passion for all aspects of the media industry, I work on some
small personal projects in my spare time. With these, I am slowly improving my creative,
production and editing skills. My love for multiple different types of media has lead me onto
making different choices to what I do, this includes at the end of the first year of my UAL
Media course, choosing to do a Radio show, this is because of my love of how radio
connects to the audience and opens a theatre of the mind. My overall passion for Radio
leads to my creative mind. I enjoy creating and developing an idea that can become a final
product. I dedicate my time to make sure that a product is at the highest standard it can be
to make sure that there is a positive outcome at the end of it. I also have a large passion for
acting. I am a member of the Antrobus Players – (amateur dramatics group) which I joined in
2018 and was given the leading role in the Pied Piper, which I performed in January 2019.
Following my performance, I was recommended for the ACT UK Spotlight Pantomime
awards and won the “Debut Award”.I also performed in a production of The Wizard of Oz
(pantomime). From this I achieved the ACT (Association of Community Theatre) Spotlight
Pantomime award for The Most Accomplished Supporting Actor – Youth.
