Capstone Update #3

What I have accomplished so far

I have been able to put most of the pictures I have taken into the shutterfly photo album making
website and I’ve also taken some photos with the DSLR camera as well. I’ve also found out the price to
order and ship the album in its base price and also the price to add pages. I’ll probably look to have
around 30-40 pages to keep it within my budget.

What I plan to accomplish by the end of the week

I plan to have the finished product ready to order by the end of the week so that it’ll be able to arrive by
the due date. I will have to take some more photos and brainstorm where in the book I should put them.
I also have to think of an epilogue to the book as well. This should take me until the end of the week,
then I’ll be able to order and have the photo book shipped.

My needs (materials, time, space, mentor etc.)

I have everything that I need to complete my capstone project now, I just need to take some more
photos to add to my album and organize them into a nice layout.

Challenges I encountered and how I have overcome them

I planned to use the retro sony cybershot camera to take some photos for the album to capture some
retro aesthetics, but the photos were too low quality and looked awkward on larger displays. I’ve
decided not to include photos from the retro camera, so I’ll need to fill in the lost photos with more
photos from the DLSR camera.
