Subject: Request for additional team for tree maintenance,

South Zone
Respected Sir,
BBMP South Zone has been fortunate to have large number
of trees in many wards. Koramangala ward has trees on all the
streets and many of them have been planted many decades ago.
These trees need regular maintenance, and the BBMP forest
team has only One team to handle all the emergency situations
and regular maintenance across BTM Constituency which
covers 08 wards. This One team in unable to handle the amount
of work that needs to be done and hence regular maintenance
requests for tree Trimming & Pruning are getting resulting in
trees falling randomly causing harm to property and being a
potential danger to people.
6th Block RWA would appeal to you to put forward our
request to sanction at least one more team of tree maintenance
staff to Chief Commissioner BBMP. This will help in increased
availability of team members to handle tree trimming requests
from various wards.
Kindly look into the matter and do the needful at the
earliest.

Sub: Haphazard Parking from Educational Institutions

From Bethany High School & PNS School

Respected Sir,

With reference to above subject, we would like to bring to your

kind notice that, Koramangala 6th block residents are facing serious
problems due to vehicles being parked on both sides of the roads
blocking free flow of traffic, especially on 19th main.

Further there is haphazard parking from 8 am to 3 pm on account of

numerous school vans being parked besides other vehicles and the
whole area becomes jammed with vehicles coming from every
direction It is so very difficult to traverse the area.
5th cross traffic has increased several folds in last few months esp.
near Bethany school at 8 AM and 3 PM. Regular deployment of traffic
police personal will help in reducing the traffic jams.
At 19th main -entry near Kalyana Mantapa, 2 wheelers are parked
densely on both sides restricting entry and exit. Regular monitoring at
that junction will help in reducing the congestion around that area.
Request your kind intervention to reduce traffic related issues. Needs
Law Enforcement.
