with some special guests they are Mr Trần Tấn Thanh and Nguyễn Phạm Lam
Phương. Both are very successful in their career due to their ability to solve the
chaos around them. So, let’s discuss situations that can create a mess and explore
ways to make those situations better. I’d like to start by asking each of you to share
your thoughts and ideas on this topic. Mr Thanh, what circumstances usually create
the mess at your work and how do you solve it?
Thanh Thank you Thương. One situation that can create a mess is when there are too many
piles of paper lying around. It makes it difficult to find important documents and
affects my productivity.
Thương Exactly, every time I sit at my desk and see the piles of papers on the table, I lose a
lot of motivation to work and feel terribly depressed.
Thanh To make this situation better, we could implement a paperless system. By digitizing
documents and using cloud storage, we can easily access files and reduce the clutter.
For example, we can scan important papers and organize them in folders on our
computers.
Thương That’s a good idea, how about you Phương?
Phương I completely agree, Thanh. Another situation that often leads to a mess is not having
enough storage space. When there's limited room to keep our belongings, it can
result in a cluttered work area. One way to address this is by investing in storage
solutions like shelves, cabinets, or lockers. For instance, we can create individual
storage bins or lockers for each employee, providing them with space to organize
their things.
Thương Yeah, definitely, too many personal belongings can also contribute to a messy
environment. When everyone has an excessive number of items on their desks, it
can lead to disorganization.
Phương Yeah, That’s right. To solve this situations we can encourage regular decluttering,
like, we can set aside time every month for a desk clean-up day where we remove
items that are no longer needed.
Thương Do you think poor time management can result in a chaotic and messy work
environment?
Phương Of course, When tasks are left until the last minute or deadlines are missed, work
can accumulate leading to physical clutter, such as stacks of papers or unorganized
files, can create a sense of chaos.
Thanh My office is always piled up with papers every time a project meets the due day. We
can address this, we should encourage each other to prioritize tasks, set realistic
deadlines, and utilize time management techniques. For example, we can suggest
using productivity apps or setting reminders to stay on track.
Thương Those are great suggestions, Mr Thanh and Mr Phương. In conclusion, we are some
of way to deal with chaos like Implementing a paperless system, creating individual
storage like bins or lockers, removing items that are no longer needed, and using
eeffective time management technique will help to create a cleaner and more
