KẾ HOẠCH KIỂM TRA KĨ NĂNG NGHE NÓI MÔN TIẾNG ANH - HỌC KỲ 1
KHỐI THCS - NĂM HỌC 2023 – 2024
I. KẾ HOẠCH CHUNG:
1. Mục đích – ý nghĩa: kiểm tra, đánh giá năng lực sử dụng Tiếng Anh của học sinh qua kĩ
năng nghe- nói, đáp ứng yêu cầu của chương trình giáo dục phổ thông 2018 về kiểm tra
đánh giá cuối kì và theo yêu cầu về kiểm tra đánh giá của trường Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm và
phòng giáo dục quận Cầu Giấy đã phê duyệt.
2. Đối tượng thi: Các học sinh khối 6, 7, 8, 9 (30 lớp).
3. Thời gian, địa điểm:
- Thời gian: thứ Hai, thứ Ba, thứ Tư các ngày 25-26-27/12/2023 (có lịch chi tiết từng lớp);
- Địa điểm: thư viện tầng 8.
4. Cách thức: Học sinh 30 lớp chia thành 30 ca tham gia thi nói, mỗi ca kéo dài 1 tiết vào các
tiết học; để tạo điều kiện thuận lợi cho ngày thi nói, giáo vụ sẽ bố trí học sinh thi nói vào
một số tiết khác không phải là môn tiếng Anh trong 3 ngày trên.
5. Phân công giáo viên, nhân viên: Các thày cô giáo tổ Anh THCS (trống giờ), giáo vụ cấp
2, thày cô giám thị hỗ trợ, cô Lan (thư viện).
II. CÁCH TÍNH ĐIỂM HỌC KỲ:

Điểm bài thi nói (thang 10đ) x 20% + điểm bài thi viết (thang 10đ) x 80% = điểm học kì 1
III. HƯỚNG DẪN ÔN TẬP:
Học sinh chuẩn bị theo chủ đề và câu hỏi ở phụ lục của kế hoạch.
1. Trình tự bài kiểm tra nói: (thí sinh thi theo cá nhân)
▪ Thí sinh bốc thăm chủ đề nói ở bàn giám thị;
▪ Chuẩn bị 2-3 phút tại bàn chờ;
▪ Hỏi và trả lời với ban giám khảo về chủ đề đã bốc thăm.
2. Nội dung bài kiểm tra nói: bài thi kĩ năng nói bao gồm 2 phần:
▪ Phần 1: (Introduction) Giới thiệu ngắn gọn về danh tính, bản thân+lớp (khoảng 1-2 câu);
▪ Phần 2: (Presentation) Thí sinh trình bày chủ đề trong thời gian từ 2-3 phút.
3. Lịch thi nói và phân công giáo viên hỏi thi:

GRADE 6 - SPEAKING TEST 1 (UNITS 1 & 2)
A. This part is compulsory for all students in general.
TASK 1 Let’s talk about your home.

The following questions may help you.
1. How many people are there in your family?
2. Do you live in a large or a small house?
3. Name three things in your kitchen.
4. What is your favourite room in your house? Why?
5. Would you change anything about your home?
TASK 2 Describe a time when you moved to a new school.

You should say:
- When and where you moved to
- Why you moved
- And explain how you felt about it.
B. This part is for Bilingual students who study the IELTS program only. Choose one
of the following topics and answer the questions:
Topic 1: Family
1. Do you come from a large family?
2. What types of tasks do you do to assist your family members?
3. What do you like to do together as a family?
Topic 2: Meeting New People

1. Do you like meeting new people?
2. How do you feel when people welcome you?
3. Do you often meet new people?
TASK 1 Let’s talk about your neighborhood.

1. Where are you living now?
2. Can you describe your neighbourhood in three words?
3. What are your favourite places in the area?
4. What don’t you like about your neighbourhood?
5. Do you get along with your neighbours?
TASK 2 Describe your best friends. You should say:

- Who is your best friend at school?
- What does he/she look like?
- How is he/she like?
- Why do you like him/her?
Topic 1: Family

TASK 1 Let’s talk about natural wonders.

1. What are the three most famous natural wonders in your country?
2. Have you ever been to a natural wonder?
3. What is the natural wonder you like most?
4. What should you bring when travelling there?
5. Why is it important to protect natural wonders?
TASK 2 Describe a national festival in your country.

You should say:
- When it takes place
- Why it takes place
- What the people do during this festival
- And explain why this festival is important to you
Topic 1: Family

TASK 1 Let’s talk about one of your hobbies.

1. What do you like doing in your free time?
2. When did you start this hobby?
3. How much time a week do you spend on your hobby?
4. Who do you often share your hobby with?
5. Do you think your hobby is safe or dangerous? Why?
TASK 2 Describe a time when you were ill. You should say:
- When this was
- What your symptoms were
- How you felt and how you recovered from the illness.
B. This part is for Bilingual students who study the IELTS program only.
Students choose one of the following topics and speak for one minute.
Topic 1: Travelling
1. Do you like travelling?
2. In which seasons do you prefer to travel?
3. Would you say your country is a good place for travellers to visit?
Topic 2: Shopping
1. Do you enjoy shopping?
2. Where do you usually shop?
3. What is the most expensive item that you have purchased?
TASK 1 Let’s talk about Music.

1. Do you enjoy singing?
2. What music do you like?
3. What music do you dislike?
4. Do you know how to play a musical instrument?
5. What music do your friends like? Do you enjoy the same type of music?
TASK 2 Describe a volunteering experience you have had.

You should say:
- When and where it was
- What you did
- Why you volunteered
- And explain how you felt.
B. This part is for Bilingual students who study the IELTS program only.
Students choose one of the following topics and speak for one minute.
Topic 1: Travelling

TASK 1 Let’s talk about food.

3. What are some traditional foods in your country?

- What the school and the teachers are like
- And explain what you like and dislike about it.
B. This part is for Bilingual students who study the IELTS program only. Students

TASK 1 Let’s talk about life in the countryside.

2. Have you ever been to the countryside?
3. What do the farmers often do in a day?
4. Can you tell me one thing you like about living in the countryside?

TASK 2 Describe what you usually do in your leisure time.

You should say:

- And explain why you like to spend your free time this
way.

TASK 2 Describe a positive experience that you had as a teenager.

You should say:
- what the positive experience was
- where you were
- who you were with
- And explain why you found the experience positive

3. What advice do parents give to teenagers about making friends?
TASK 1 Let’s talk about ethnic groups of Viet Nam.

1. How many ethnic groups are there in Viet Nam?
2. Which one has the largest population?
3. Which one has the smallest population?
4. How do you think the groups are different?
5. How do you call the groups with smaller populations?
TASK 2 Describe a healthy lifestyle you know.

You should say:
- What is it?
- How do you know it?
- When do you do it?
- And explain why you think it is healthy.
1. Why do some people think that modern lifestyle is not healthy?
2. Are there any changes in modern and traditional lifestyles?
3. What are the advantages or disadvantages of traditional lifestyle? Why?
TASK 1 Let’s talk about stress.

2. What do you think are the reasons of stress?
3. Do you suffer from stress when you have too much work to do?
4. How do students relax themselves?
5. Do people nowadays have more ways to relax than in the past?
TASK 2 Describe a city you would like to live in.

You should say:
- What is this city?
- Where is this city?
- What is the city famous for?
- What part of the city would you like to live in?
- Why would you like to live in?
1. What are the benefits of residing in a large town or city?
2. What are some of the issues that cities and towns are facing?
3. Why do more people relocate to the city?
TASK 1 Let’s talk about wonders of Vietnam.

3. What are the main features of the place?
TASK 2 Describe an art or craft activity that you had at school.
You should say:
- What did you make?
- How did you make it?
- Who did it with you?
- What did it look like?
- And how you felt about the activity.

2. What are the benefits of making handicrafts?
3. What are the benefits of traditional products to locals?
4. Do you think the government should help in the promotion of traditional products?
5. Is it necessary to protect traditional products?
TASK 1 Let’s talk about life in the past.

2. How did they communicate with each other?
3. How were public schools in the past?
4. What were their houses like?
5. Do you like life in the past or life now? Why?
TASK 2 Talk about the changes in your neighborhood.

You should say:
- Where do you live?
- How long have you been living there?
- What was the different in your neighborhood when
you were small?
- What do you like/dislike about your neighborhood?
- What do you think about those differences in your
neighborhood?
1. What kind of change do people often experience?
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of change? (job, school, home…)
3. What if people change their jobs frequently?
4. Why do some people do not accept change?
5. Is it easier for young people or old people to change?
