Egypt industry 4.0 challenge is a capacity building and pre-incubation program for
projects in the fields of robotics and industrial applications for senior university
students, start-ups and Stem school students; whom have innovative ideas in the

Egypt FinTech Challenge
Egypt FinTech Challenge is a nationwide program launched in 2023 for university and
high school students that have innovative ideas in the area of Financial Technologies,
and related fields.
EFTC is highly focused on raising the technical know-how of the FinTech industry for
participants and helping them apply their ideas in those areas.

Egypt Game Development Challenge

Egypt Game Development Challenge is a nationwide program launched in 2023 for
senior university students with innovative ideas in Game Development.
It seeks to boost the gaming industry in Egypt by providing a platform for creatives to
showcase their skills. Participants explore aspects like programming, graphics,
storytelling, and user experience.

Milestones

1. Ideation Camps:
Hybrid (Virtual and Physical) series of sessions
that guide participants through the process of
shaping project ideas. The sessions cover
technical aspects, as well as the development of
a robust value proposition and business model.
Sessions are delivered by our network of
expertise and professionals.

Timeframe:
January - February 2024

2. Mentorship Sessions:
One to one mentorship sessions for each
participating team, concentrating on thorough
discussions about various aspects of their
proposed project, ultimately resulting in
recommendations for each team.

Each team will submit their proposal the consists

of:
● Pitch presentation video
● Prototype design

Timeframe:
March - April 2024

3. Judging Panel:
Selected teams will undergo a 10-minute judging
panel, consisting of a 5-minute pitching
presentation and a subsequent 5-minute Q&A
session. Evaluation criteria center around the
technical relevance, team comprehension of the
problem, solution, project's value proposition, and
the design of the prototype.

Qualified teams will pass to the following phase

of the program.

4. Fabrication Services &

Hardware Kits:
Following the judging panels, the selected teams
will promptly receive their hardware kits.
Simultaneously, the fabrication services form will
become available, inviting teams to submit their
requests for fabrication. Teams will then engage
in refining their projects to complete their
prototypes.

April - July 2024

5. Internships:
After completing the second semester finals,
teams will participate in internships and courses
offered by our technical partners, facilitating a
connection between individual students and the
industry.
During this phase, we emphasis on enhancing the
qualifications of individual participants for the
market.

6. Final Mentorship:
Specialized one-on-one mentorship sessions will
be provided and facilitated by our network of
experts and professionals. These sessions will
focus on preparing the team for the final phases
of the challenge and refining the upcoming plans
for their project.

Following this phase ,teams will submit the final

submission that consists of:
● Pitch presentation video
● Prototype

July - August 2024

7. Final Judging Panel:

Chosen teams will participate in a 10-minute final
judging panel, featuring a 5-minute pitching
presentation followed by a 10-minute Q&A
session. The panel comprises industry experts
and professionals from our primary, strategic, and
technical partners.

The announcement of qualified teams will take

place during the closing ceremony.

8. Final Event, Exhibition &

Closing Ceremony:
The culminating event for Egypt Technical
Challenges, conducted in collaboration with our
partners, serves as a celebration of the success of
the program's various editions. The day features
speeches, talks, panel discussions, workshops,
networking, and matchmaking activities,
concluding with the closing ceremony and the
announcement of the winners.
