A. CHƯƠNG TRÌNH ÔN TẬP:

Chương trình sách giáo khoa môn tiếng Anh lớp 8 hiện hành (từ tuần 19 đến hết tuần 33).
B. NỘI DUNG ÔN TẬP:
1. Vocabulary:
Tất cả những từ có liên quan đến nội dung các chủ đề bài học trong chương trình học kỳ II môn
tiếng Anh lớp 8 và những từ mà học sinh đã được học ở chương trình các lớp trước.
2. Listening:
Gồm 2 bài tập có nội dung, kiến thức phù hợp với khả năng của học sinh
- Nghe chọn câu trả lời đúng (multiple choice).
- Nghe và điền thông tin còn thiếu vào chỗ trống.
3. Tenses:
- Simple future, Future continuous, Simple past, Past continuous, Present perfect, Past Perfect.
4. Modal verbs: Can, could, must, have to, would, should , used to
5. Verb forms: Bare infinitive, to-infinitive, V-ing (gerund).
6. Structures / models:
- Conditional Sentences (Type 1 & 2)
- Verbs + gerunds/to-infinitives
- Question words
- Articles
- Passive voice : simple present, simple past, modal verbs, present continuous, present perfect
- Reported speech: affirmative statement, Yes-No question
7. Word forms:
- Verbs, Nouns, Prepositions, Adjectives, Adverbs
8. Reading comprehension: (two passages or dialogues)
A- Guided cloze test
B- Multiple choice
- Topics for reading are related to pollution, English speaking countries, natural disasters,
communication, life on other planets.
9. Writing:
- Rewrite (The past perfect: Before -> After), Passive voice, reported speech (the present simple)
and an extensive sentence.
- Answer an open question (about 50 words)
+ What should we do to reduce pollution?
+ If you had a chance to study English in English speaking countries. Which country would
you choose to study? Why?
