On behalf of Hysan Education, it gives me great pleasure to put forth my strongest recommendation
for student Khunn Sint Than Tha to pursue her studies and participate in the Global Undergraduate
Exchange Program (Global UGRAD).

As a former Academic Head in Hysan Education, I have had the opportunity to teach closely to
Khunn Sint as one of my students and get to know her personally since 2020. Khunn Sint has
become a highly valuable star student of Hysan Education, a youth-empowering language school in
Myanmar, and I have had the great pleasure of seeing her grow as a youth leader for our Hysan
students and amongst her peers.

As a learner, Khunn Sint is both a committed and skillful learner. Her academic abilities at the
University are unquestionable. Among her peers, Khunn Sint’s command of the English Language
and her passion to learn France is one of the best. She displays a high capacity for hard work and
dedication to the cause when it comes to learning. She has improved her language skills by leaps
over the past two years with Hysan and has shown a keenness to improve herself by asking for
feedback from peers and teachers. Her tenacity for hard work and self-directed learning shines
through her improvement in the class. Not only does her academic illustrate her uniqueness but
also her delightful personality and approachable demeanor make her easily blend in with diverse
groups, bringing a positive, warm atmosphere and contributing harmonious community.

Khunn Sint is also a proactive student leader in her community. As one of the youth leaders in Hysan
Education, she has shown great maturity in her collaboration with other youth leaders in the
execution and delegating the tasks while carrying out her role as the President in leading Hysan’s
Weekly Speaking Buddy program; a program that allows opportunity for students to express
opinions and debate issues and thereby encourage critical thinking and learn English in a natural
and authentic English speaking classroom community. Additionally, with her exceptional creativity,
she can always be counted on to suggest new ways to improve our activities during discussions and
takes the initiative to come out with new, interesting learning activities to run the Hysan Speaking
Buddy program and Hysan Social clubs smoothly. Since she is also an excellent communicator
with strong writing and public speaking skills, she has faced and overcome personal and
program-related challenges effectively by handling difficult situations, demonstrating her
perseverance and resilience. These skills, coupled with her innovative thinking and creative
problem-solving abilities, make her an asset to any academic environment. With her great ethic,
leadership skills, and active participation in classroom & extracurricular activities, I believe that
your exchange program will enable young leaders like Khunn Sint to grow and become more
effective leaders in communities, and to contribute to the development of the country.

We believe that these traits make her not only a keen learner but also a bright prospect for the
