    Lesson Plan in Reading

    I. Objectives:

    1. Read words and sentences with beginning sounds of /bl/, /cl/ and /fl/.
    2. Give words and sentences with beginning sounds of /bl/, /cl/ and /fl/

    II. Subject Matter:

    1. Reading Words and sentences with final sounds of /bl/, /cl/ and /fl/.
    2. Reference/ Materials: activity sheet and powerpoint presentation

    III. Learning Activities:

    A. Warm up song (Song of Alphabet)

    B. Lesson Proper:

    1. Motivation

    Look at the picture. What is in the picture ( showing picture of a black color, clown and
    flower)

    2. Presentation

    Today, we’re going to form new words beginning in /bl/,/cl/ and /fl/.

    3. Forming New words

    We will add the letter bl before a and ck. What new word is formed? Give the sound of
    each letter. Repeat after me.Letter bl goes bl-bl-bl-bl.
    bl.….a ck bl.….a ck
    black
    And so on….

    4. Reading words learned on powerpoint.


    5. Matching words with pictures, with worksheet.(Group 1)
    6. Writing Activity , word puzzle on the activity sheets (Group 2)

    IV. Evaluation

    (Oral)
    Read.
    The man has a blade .
    There are blue flames on the blade.
    The man eats the blade.
    The men clap.

    V. Assigment

    Read and study the lesson.
