Study the VSU's Vision, Mission, Goals, Objectives, and Quality Policy Statements. Reflect and
answer the following questions
1. Why are you in VSU?
As we all know, every student dreams of enrolling in a prestigious school with a
quality education. After graduating from secondary education, they search for the best colleges
or universities for them to study at. On my own part, I enrolled myself in VSU because they
are one of the top schools here in the Philippines that provide excellent instruction to their
students. They also offer the best courses with high passing rates because they hire
highly qualified instructors. Likewise, I enrolled at VSU knowing that they greatly help in
developing their students to be highly competent and well-versed in science, technology,
and environmental management who are skilled in communication, critical thinking, and
analytical skills.
2. How can VSU respond to your goals and expectations?
With the vast improvements of today’s world, our society has also
required a lot of skilled people who can contribute to the innovation and development
of our world. That is why students like me become goal- oriented person and expect to
become more after I graduate. So, choosing the best university really matters in order to help
me achieve my dream. Meanwhile, VSU can meet my goals and expectations by molding
me to become globally competitive, allowing me to go beyond my boundaries and by
encouraging me to challenge myself to grow holistically.
3. How should you respond to VSU’s expectations?
As a student, I should respond to VSU’s expectations by means of pursuing
academic achievement, actively participating in school activities, serving as a role model,
conforming to the university's regulations and policies, passing my board exam, and
conducting research in concordance with the goal of VSU. But of course, I can do all of
this by doing my best in any aspect. And even though I may face difficult roads along this
journey, what matters most is that I should go and see what awaits me at the end of that
road.
