mechanical maintenance engineer, I have the responsibilities to follow and prepare
all majors maintenance interventions for the critical equipment: 12 Solar Turbines
(Centaur 40, Mars100,Taurus60), 20 reciprocating compressors (Ariel, Dresser-
rand, Waukesha), 02 centrifugal compressors (Thermodyn, Nuovo Pignone), 45
gas engine (CAT3406-3408-3512-3516; CUMMINS, BAUDOUIN...), multistage
centrifugal and volumetric pumps (Sulzer, Flowserve, SPX, David Brown, GASO,
National...), more than 50 offshore cranes, firefighting pumps , lifeboats,
instrument and utilities air compressors....
 Develop and update the procedures and operating instructions for major’s
mechanical interventions according to the HSE procedures and optimizing
costs and delays.
 Develop the specifications and / or scope of work related to the intervention,
based on the TOTAL GS
 Develop the new technical operations for the Preventive and curative
interventions, as well for new and existing equipment.
 Identify work opportunities and proposal of improvements related to the
intervention by consulting the sites and other entities
 Analyze the operating parameters before and after intervention and during
normal operation in order to predict the breakdowns.
