II. Company/Business Description


History

Pizza is one of the famous dishes around the world that originated from Italy. It is
made from baked flat, round base of dough that usually consists of a savoury
mixture of tomatoes and cheese with a topping that either consists of vegetables,
mushrooms, ham, pineapples, onions, and more. Pizza was started and
developed in Naples Italy, when bakers made excess dough and sold it to a large
number of poor people. The bread used in making pizza was developed into one
of the earliest pizzas that consists of decorated toppings such as tomatoes, oil,
cheese, and anchovies. By that, pizzas were sold in the entire Italy because of its
filling, tasty, and cheap price.

Fruit shake or fruit smoothie is a blended drink that is thick and creamy that
made from fresh fruit or vegetables with crashed ice, and a liquid base either milk,
yogurt, or ice cream in 1930s the concept of smoothie was started to appear when
health food stores on the West Coast began to adapt the Brazilian recipes and
selling the pureed fruit drinks or smoothie. The first appearance of banana
smoothie and a pineapple smoothie was in the 1940s Waring “Blendor”
cookbooks. The smoothie started to become popularized in the 60s and when
they started to sell the smoothie in coffee shops, cafes, and grocery stores as per-
bottled drinks, smoothie became the mainstream in the 1990s.

Mission

We aim to create a delightful experience for our customers by serving top-notch


pizza and fresh fruit shakes, using quality ingredients and providing excellent
service. Our mission is to be a welcoming spot where friends and families can
gather, share smiles, and savor tasty moments together.

Objectives:

1. Deliver exceptional taste and quality in every pizza slice and fruit shake.

2. Foster a warm and inviting environment for customers to enjoy their meals.

3. Source and use fresh, high-quality ingredients for all our offerings.

4. Ensure prompt and friendly service that exceeds customer expectations.

5. Build a strong community presence through engagement and positive


interactions.

Goals:
1. Attain a customer satisfaction rating of 95% or higher within the first year.

2. Expand our menu with innovative pizza flavors and unique fruit shake
combinations.

3. Establish partnerships with local suppliers to maintain a consistent supply of


fresh ingredients.

4. Increase foot traffic and repeat customers by 20% in the next six months.

5. Contribute to community events and support local causes to strengthen our ties
with the neighborhood.

Key to Success
Our key to being successful is making tasty food with awesome flavors, using the
best stuff, and being really nice to customers. We're all about sticking to these
rules and always getting better so everyone has a super happy and unforgettable
time eating with us.

Duties and Responsibilities

Owner/Director

• Responsible for fiscal and operational activities such as ordering supplies,


developing, and operating within a budget
• Ensure to execute the plans to maintain health and safety standards that the
government implemented to ensure the customers are safe and eating not just
quality food but healthy food.
• Oversee the entire food and beverage department operations.
• Oversee and train staff to ensure that they are following the standard
procedures implemented
• Welcoming and greeting visitors or clients
• Answering and directing phone calls, emails, and other inquiries
• Negotiating and closing sales deals
• Building and maintaining relationships with customers

Production

• Ensure the quality control of all food prepared. From the preparation until the
food is served to guests.
• Ensure the restaurant cooking supplies in the kitchen are well stocked,
minimize the wastage, and maintain a clean and safe work environment

Support

• Greet the guest when they arrive at the venue


• Escorting and directing the guests to tables
• Provide menus and take customer’s/guest’s orders
• Handle and serve properly the food and drink to the customers/guests.
• Endorse the customer’s/guest’s orders to the kitchen staff.

Reception
• Greeting and welcoming visitors or customers.
• Customer Service Provide basic information to clients, customers, and visitors;
assist with inquiries or direct them to the right contact.
• Communication Relay messages and information between different
departments or individuals within the organization.
• Problem Solving Handle unexpected situations or conflicts at the reception,
seeking guidance from appropriate personnel when needed.

Sales

• Understanding customer needs and recommending products or services.

enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and communications.

• Assist in creating and managing budgets to ensure financial stability and


efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including expenses, and
income,
• Monitor and control expenses to optimize financial performance.
• Assisting in the development of budgets and financial forecasts to guide the
business's financial planning and decision-making process.
