420kV 3-phase motor operated gang driven RCP Disconnector. Disconnector is to be
supplied with 1 mech per 3 phase set containing local / remote control.

Mechanism Unit and comprising

- Disc Operating Mechanism Motor – 110/125v d.c. Requirements to be


as per TS 2.2 & 3.2.2. Provision shall be
made for at least 30 spare auxiliary
switches. Such provision shall be for 5 early
make, 5 late break, 10 NO and 10 NC.

- Mechanical Interlock Required: Interlock disc and mounting position required


for fitting at site of mechanical interlock on
disconnectors mech’s. Note, interlocking
facility to be able to be defeated with only
the use of hand tools, ie, fixings screws must
be accessible.

- HV terminal, busbar loadings: Maximum ‘static’ and ‘static + dynamic’


loading capabilities for the Disconnector
Primary HV terminals are to be provided,
preferably indicated on the general
arrangement drawing.

- Required manufacture dimensions: Phase Centres (P) = 5000mm
